About Grosse
"Grosse" was born in 1907 in Pforzheim, the jewelery capital of Germany.
At the time, pocket watch chains made from a loved one's hair braided and coated with special metal were widely popular among young men going to war.
During the subsequent World War II, both the town and the factory were burned down, but the family's passion for making jewelry never faded, as they believed that "beauty leads to peace."
